Our approach

We don’t just treat the injured area – we support the whole rehabilitation process.

When is it recommended?

For vet-examined tendon and ligament problems

The programme fits into the veterinary rehabilitation plan and always respects the workload limits set there.

  • diagnosed tendon or ligament injury
  • the rehabilitation period after a tendon or ligament problem
  • complementing conservative rehabilitation prescribed by the vet
  • the period of gradual return to work
  • regular complementary treatment during longer rehabilitation

Vet first

With new swelling, heat, pain or lameness, the first step is a veterinary examination – not rehabilitation treatment.

The programme does not replace diagnosis, follow-up examinations, imaging (such as ultrasound) or the prescribed exercise programme.

Prices

Prices by number of limbs

The number of limbs treated is not decided on a “the more the better” basis, but according to your horse’s current condition and the treatment goal.

Courses: every package is available as a single session or as a 3 , 5 or 10-session course. 1 limb: one specific affected limb; 2 limbs: e.g. both fore or both hind limbs; 4 limbs: needs involving several limbs.

Light Aftercare: treatments with a list price of 30 000 Ft or more include one pair of home-use red/NIR light units; for lower-priced treatments they are available for +6 500 Ft. On courses, the list price of the individual session applies.

Included in every package

Why does the horse get a back treatment too?

A horse rehabilitating from a tendon or ligament problem may change the way it moves and loads its limbs, which can affect the muscles of other areas. So the programme also pays attention to any compensatory muscle loading that may develop during rehabilitation.

Course-based programme

Single session or 3, 5 or 10-session course. The rhythm depends on the type of injury, the phase of rehabilitation, the veterinary plan and follow-up results.

Progress tracking

We record the diagnosis, the affected area, the modalities, dates, externally visible changes and the rider’s feedback. This does not replace ultrasound follow-up.

Optional add-on

Exercise & Rehabilitation consultation with Anna

Machine-based treatment alone does not replace well-structured active rehabilitation. The days between treatments matter too: in the consultation, the owner or rider learns exercises with a specialist that they can do independently between sessions.

  • practical observation of horse and rider
  • choosing suitable exercises and teaching correct technique
  • a home exercise plan and later progress check
  • adjusting the exercises as rehabilitation progresses
  • Planned price: approx. +15 000 Ft – travel included

Honestly

What we offer – and what we don’t promise

What we offer

  • Support built on a veterinary diagnosis that fits into the vet’s plan
  • Controlled cold + compression for targeted cooling of the affected limb
  • Targeted and larger-area photobiomodulation
  • A consistent, trackable programme

What we don’t promise

  • That it heals or “rebuilds” the tendon or ligament
  • That it is guaranteed to speed up healing or the return to sport
  • That it prevents re-injury
  • That it replaces veterinary treatment or ultrasound follow-up

If your horse’s condition gets worse, or new swelling, heat, pain or lameness appears, a veterinary check is needed instead of continuing the programme.

FAQ

Questions about tendon and ligament rehabilitation

Can I book without a diagnosis?

No. The Tendon & Ligament programme is only for complementing the rehabilitation of vet-examined tendon and ligament problems, following the veterinary plan and workload limits.

Which package should I choose?

We make a suggestion based on the veterinary diagnosis and the current stage of rehabilitation. Basic is essential technological support, Plus adds larger-area red/NIR treatment on the affected limbs, and Pro is the most individualised level.

Why treat the back as well?

Because a horse’s movement and loading pattern may change during rehabilitation. We don’t claim every horse with a tendon injury develops back pain – the back treatment supports any compensatory muscle loading that may develop, at no extra cost.

How often are treatments needed?

A course does not mean a fixed frequency. The rhythm depends on the type of injury, the phase of rehabilitation, the veterinary plan, your horse’s response and follow-up results.

How do you track progress?

We document every session and compare observations over the course. This gives the rider and the vet a clear picture – but it does not replace veterinary follow-up.
